Jessica Cabo

Hi, I’m Jessica Cabo, and there is nothing I’m more passionate about than cooking great food with the best ingredients. I started my professional cooking career by competing on the first season of “Hell’s Kitchen” TV reality show. I did not win, but was a finalist appearing in the last episode of the season. From there, I continued working in kitchens in Los Angeles with some of the top chefs in America.

After moving from LA back to the East Coast, I settled in Wilmington NC to enjoy more time with my mother. I spent seven years as Executive Chef at both the Blockade Runner Beach Resort and the Cameron Art Museum, expanding my skills and coordinating banquets, menus, group logistics, and earning numerous reginal accolades.

Nothing is more satisfying to me than to cook for the people I love. I look forward cooking for your family or group whether through a private dinner or small special event. I shop for the best ingredients, prepare, explain, and serve the meal and finally clean leaving only delicious memories.

It would be my pleasure to deliver my passion for cooking to your home.

Jess was able to cook blackfin tuna, black bass, and triggerfish we had caught and turn them into a full meal. We had the most amazing vegetables and greens served family-style for the entire crew. All of the fish was cooked to perfection, and the flavors of the vegetables were even better. She was also so personable; we enjoyed the meal with her as we shared stories all night, making the experience unforgettable and uniquely personal.
